Irina's infamous pink tour bus will start a comprehensive Finnish tour in March. Irina, known from energetic live performances, is eager to get back on stage.

The tour celebrates Irina's new album, which will be released at the end of February.

Stiff Little Fingers, the punk legend from Belfast, will arrive to Finland after a long wait. The band previously played in Finland at Kuusrock, Oulu back in 1979. Stiff Little Fingers will hit the stage on saturday 6th of April at The Circus, Helsinki. Other acts are The Vibrators, one of the original british punk legend as well, and Kakka-Hätä 77, a local punk act. Ticket sale will start on the 21st of January at Tiketti.

Debut album will be released 15.2.2013 in Finland and Germany.

Superscar has gained a lot of attention with their catchy tracks and now this majorpop band will tour with Sunrise Avenue on their arena tour in Central Europe. The tour is not a short sprint, but includes a total of 14 gigs over the Europe.

RedBerg has signed two new artists, gloomy, dark and heavy "Kuolemanlaakso" and an energetic melodeath band "Pain Confessor".

Kuolemanlaakso debut album "Uljas Uusi Maailma" will be released on 23.11. by Svart Records, whereas Pain Confessor's fourth album "Incarcerated" was released by Spinefarm Records earlier in october.

TV OFF, a pop-group from Helsinki, will release their second album The Writing On The Wall on August 31st and are inviting you to dance at Tavastia on Friday, Sept. 14th. This year HIM, one of Finland’s most successful bands at home and abroad celebrate 20 years by releasing a compilation album XX – Two Decades of Love Metal. This is the first compilation by the band that covers their whole career. The celebratory compilation includes one new track, Strange World – the first new material from HIM since 2010. Kevin Grivois known by the artist name Ké released the track in the 90s, and it’s one of the personal favourites of Ville Valo. Strange World is released digitally on Friday, September 21st. A music video has been shot for the track. The compilation will be released globally by Sony Music.

The renowned Helldone Festival  will take place again this year. HIM has brought in the New Year at Tavastia Club 11 times, five of which with Helldone Festival. This year HIM will take the Tavastia stage four nights in a row. The Helldone Festival audience has usually consisted of a large number of HIM fans that have travelled to Finland from abroad – including gig goers from as far afield as Mexico and Australia. Helldone has been sold out in record time each year. The Festival will announce ticket sale dates and schedules in the near future.

The 69 Eyes releases a new album called ”X” in September 28th. It’s the 10th album from this Helsinki based Goth rock band. After the release of the album the band starts their Finnish tour which covers the whole country.

The band has recorded their new album in Stockholm, Sweden with the production team called “On The Verge”. The first single “Red” from the album has just come out and is taking the airwaves in Finland. Simultaneously with the releaseof the album, the band also launches their own red wine, simply called as “Red” as well.

The 69 Eyes:“X” is released in Finland by RCA Sony Music and by Nuclear Blast in the rest of the world.

This mystic fairy-popsinger Iiris will do a club tour in Finland in the fall. The tour starts at Lutakko in Jyväskylä on September 12^th and ends in Seinäjoki September 15^th. In between those two shows the tour visits in Oulu at 45 Special 13th and at Tavastia in Helsinki on Sep 14^th together with electropop-duo TV OFF and Finnish pop-sensation Aero.

The Helsinki-based popgroup TV OFF is set to release their second album The Writing On The Wall August 31^st, 2012. This album presents the duo with a more relaxed and deepened expression of electro-led pop infused with elements of indie, British garage and 90’s classics. The most stylish album will brighten up the darkening evenings of fall. 

The demand for tickets to Poets Of The Fall’s Temple Of Thought Tour in Germany has been so overwhelming, that three of the shows are being moved to bigger venues to accommodate the fans.  At two venues, capacity is being raised and the Cologne-date has changed. See show dates and new venues here.

Helsinki’s own goth-rockers, The 69 Eyes, announced earlier this summer the release of their new studio album “X”. The upcoming album was recorded in Stockholm with the help of producer-group ”On The Verge”. The first single off the album is “Red” and it will be released August 10th. The single was mixed by longtime Kent-producer Stefen Boman.
 
The video for the single was shot in July in Sweden with legendary director Patric Ullaeus. “We’ve known Patric for years and talked about a joint project, so it was about time! Since our new album is ”X” was largely recorded in Sweden, it felt natural to shoot the video there as well, with a Swedish director. I was really impressed by David Fincher’s film “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” and wanted that feeling on our video” says Jyrki Linnankivi. “We shot the video in a mantion called Bjertorp Slott on the outskirts of Gothenburg. The video is a combination of Swedish landscapes, sports cars, Playboy-girls and Helsinki vampires. This is the most esthetically beautiful 69 Eyes-video yet.”

The album is the 10th studio album from the band. It will be released in Finland under Sony Music / RCA on September 28th. Worlwide the album will be released under Nuclear Blast. The band will also embark on a tour following the release of the album. More details to be announced in August. 

The band will play a farewll-gig in its birthplace of Rovaniemi on August11th at Simerock-festival. Before their final show they’ll play a club-gig at Suisto-klubi in Hämeelinna.

The punky girl-trio started their career at a competition for bands in  the Lapland town of Rovaniemi.

“We decided not to ruin the band just because we don’t have enough time to dedicate to it. We realized it was time for some tough decisions. Originally we had planned to do this only as long as it was fun and came naturally. Now we’re going to bury Stalingrad Cowgirls with honor and smiling through the tears” says vocalist-guitarist Enni Kivelä.

Stalingrad Cowgirls released two albums during the course of its career (Somewhere High, Kiss Your Heart Goodbye) and made their break-through by ambitiously touring clubs and festivals in Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Holland, Japan, China and Russia. The band has supported the likes of Iggy Pop, Muse, Mötley Crüe, Michael Monroe and Billy Idol.

"The cover is pure goth 'n roll. it's a psychedelic mirror image of old bones of wild animals. Our X-tagram projected on top in different forms. it is good, bad, magical and voodoo all at the same time! The first single off the album is called "Red" and will be released mid-August. The band has been working on their album in Stockholm with Swedish producers "On The Verge". Kent's long-time producer Stefan Boman is in charge of mixing.

Rising Estonian star Iiris has charmed music lovers with her modern pop-tunes and it seems she's now charmed the boys of Keane as well, since she's been selected to open the show at Helsinki'sw The Circus July 18th. Tickets for the show are now on sale at Tiketti.

Iiris' only shows in Finland so far this summer have been at festivals, so this club show is sure to add some spice to the mix. You can still catch Iiris performing at Ilosaarirock, Jurassic Rock and Qstock in Oulu later this summer.

The Sun Roba-streetfestival takes over Iso Roobertinkatu in the heart of Helsinki for the second year in a row. Sun Roba offers a multitude of programs and happenings for all ages from a cicus-themed playworld for kids to dancing and the hottest names in Finnish pop-music.

The street is completely transformed for the festival, when the streets are covered in grass and a gentle market-atmosphere takes over. The wood-burning sauna was a big hit last year! Shop-owners will line the streets with their stalls selling design, food and music.
Sun Roba is an event to enjoy together with friends and since it's free, there's really no excuse not to go!

Unfortunately The Exploited tour in Aust-NZ is cancelled due to a very serious family situation of the bass player. Rob has travelled today back to Ireland to stay with his family for the next few weeks and therefore The Exploited is not able to make tour. The band is feeling really sorry, not only for Robs situation, but also this tour cancellation and the disappointment for the fans.

After four platinum-selling albums, countless hit singles, one compilation album and over 500 shows Irina has been on a well-deserved break until now. But in between working on her new album she's ready to break the silence and embark on a tour of northern Finland.

"This will most likely be my only tour this year, so the whole gang is really excited about going on the road. We're going to make the most of Lapland!" says Irina. The tour starts on March 15th and will be hitting the northern towns over a two-week period.

One of Finland's most respected singer-songwriters, musician-actor Olavi Uusivirta has announced a new tour. Olavi's fifth studio album is released on March 14th and the tour commences in early April.

Atlético Kumpula is a new folk-group founded by Kyösti Salokorpi, songwriter and guitarist for Scandinavian Music Group. His songs are set in the nostalgic childhood memories of Kumpula, characterised by idyllic wooden houses.

Norwegian blackjazzmetalgroup Shining has confirmed they'll be playing at Tavastia on March 3rd. The group has previously appeard in Finland at Provinssirock and Sonisphere among others.

Shining has garnered attention around the world with their unique combo of jazz and metal. The New York Times has described theri music as "radioactive combination of jazz and black metal". And Finnish Inferno-magazine has said: "It doesn't matter if you don't like jazz or even black metal - these natives from the land of the fjords manage to combine the two into an experience that you can't help but enjoy."
